Hawai'i's Animals Do the Most Amazing Things!
This is a book that I illustrated in 2014 while living in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii. It is published by University of Hawaii Press. It was a pleasure to work closely with The author, Marion Coste. I loved researching and illustrating so many amazing Hawaiian animals.

Hidden picture illustration for Papahanumokuakea Marine National Monument, Hawaii
This hidden picture illustration was such a fun project but it did get very complicated to figure out how to hide over 40 objects in the scene. I drew all elements with ink pens and combined and rearranged things with Photoshop. I'd love to create more similar scenes!
This is a large Earth Art 'Masterpiece' collaborative art project that I guided K-8th graders while teaching art at Ridgeline Montessori School in Eugene Oregon. K-6th graders drew and cut out animals and 7th and 8th graders painted the background and collaged all the animals on! I love the result and it truly is a masterpiece!
